By participating in our Gear Swap, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

Sellers:

Restricted Items

The Gear Swap does not permit the following list of items for sale or services or advertisement for such:

• Animals and Animal Products & Medications
• Household pets of any kind including but not limited to dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, and fish
• Pet and wildlife parts, blood, or fluids
• Automotive
• Motor vehicles that require registration
• Vehicle airbags and airbag covers
• Vehicle airbag inflators and airbag components
• Motorcycle helmets that do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218
• Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
• Controlled substances or illegal drugs and narcotics, including substances and items used to manufacture controlled substances
• Expired Products or Products That Have Been Recalled for Any Reason
• Food and Beverage
• Alcoholic beverages including but not limited to wine, beer, liquor, moonshine, and grain alcohol
• Non-packaged food items or adulterated food
• Hazardous and Dangerous Items
• Used or rebuilt batteries, or batteries containing mercury
• Pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides or hazardous substances, or items containing hazardous substances including but not limited to contaminated toys, or art or craft material containing toxic substances without a warning label
• Items issued to United States Armed Forces that have not been disposed of in accordance with Department of Defense demilitarization policies
• Offensive Materials
• Items that promote or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual, or religious intolerance, or promote organizations with such views
• Plants and Seeds
• Restricted or regulated plants and insects, including but not limited to noxious weeds, endangered plant species, or live insects or pests
• Plants, Plant Products, and Seeds must meet Federal Trade Commission regulations to be truthful, not misleading, and backed by scientific evidence
• Pre-Orders
• Items  which a seller does not currently have in-stock are prohibited
• Handmade, made-to-order and personalized items may be listed as long as the buyer and seller agree to conditions
• Tobacco or Nicotine Products and Accessories
• Weapons and Related Items
• Firearms and firearm parts, BB guns, scopes, silencers, ammunition and ammunition magazines
• Hidden, disguised or undetectable knives, switchblade knives or automatic knives where there is no manual stud or screw visible, butterfly knives, dual-action knives, gravity knives, paratrooper knives, and push knives

You must be legally able to sell the item(s) you bring to the Gear Swap.   

Binding Sale

All sales are binding.

Items are sold AS IS without any warranty or condition, express, implied, or statutory.

Shawano Pathways and Shawano Paddlers, its officers, directors, and volunteers take no responsibility for the condition of items sold.

Buyers & Sellers:

All transactions are solely between individual buyers and sellers.  Shawano Pathways and Shawano Paddlers, its officers, directors, and volunteers take no responsibility for pricing, negotiating, or return requests.
