Wolf River Shawano WI
The Wolf River, below the Shawano Dam, is a quiet and peaceful river to canoe or kayak on.  It's wide and never has logjams or large windfalls to block the paddlers progress. You will often see eagles, ducks and blue herons.  It travels through farm land and lowlands (M to CCC) and the Navarino State Wildlife area (CCC to 156).
Notes:  In late summer it can be too shallow and some walking the boats may be required; no place to stop.
