Wolf River Paddle and Pedal

When:

Saturday, June 24, 2017

What is a Paddle and Pedal?

  • Paddle your canoe or kayak down the Wolf River, from Lieg Ave. to CCC, a section that is all flat water, through natural areas.  This usually takes about 2-1/2 hours.
  • Pedal your bike on an 8, 12, or 22 mile rout back to Mountain Bay Outfitters.  Your boat will be shuttled back and waiting for you!

How do the logistics work?

Between 7:15 and 8:30 a.m. drop off your bicycle at the CCC boat landing and a canoe or kayak at the Judd Park/Lieg Ave. boat landing.  (If renting equipment from Mountain Bay Outfitters, it will be dropped off for you.)  Park your vehicle and check-in at Mountain Bay Outfitters by 8:45 a.m.  Walk (15-20 minutes) or take a shuttle to the Judd Park/Lieg Ave. boat landing.  A group launch will take place at 9:15 a.m.

Extra Features

  • Basic kayak instructions and yoga at Judd Park from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.
  • Before or after, add an optional 1 or 4 mile walk/run to make it a "tri-day."
  • Brat fry available at Mountain Bay Outfitters
